Charlie Stella Visits Madame Perry's Salon, co-host is author Sherry Meeks.

Native New Yorker and author of gritty crime thrillers Charlie Stella visits Madame Perry's Salon for an unforgettable night. His college buddy, author Sherry Meeks, joins as co-host as we explore the hard-boiled world of Stella!

Charlie started writing plays while working two jobs (window cleaning early mornings after word processing on a midnight shift).  He enjoyed writing dialogue driven material but after dealing with a couple of theatre groups, he thought it best to work solo in the future.

“Actor’s Equity sent me a guy couldn’t remember his lines,” Charlie said.  “I hope the guy got hired for a movie and the camera guy forgot to bring film.”

Visit Sherry Meeks' website for info on her Finding Tambri tour.

Tails From the Front Lines  Soldiers go through boot camp, which teaches them discipline and how to fight. Then, they learn a specialty which hones those skills. While no one can be totally prepared for battle, the military does the best they can to help soldiers react instinctively to threats.

Survival instincts honed on the field of battle can be dangerous for them and innocent bystanders. A dog can provide comfort, unconditional love, and non-judgmental support when a vet needs help readjusting to the civilian world.

TADSAW trains and pairs service dogs with vets so they can re-enter society with less stress and a partner at their side. Many of these animals came from shelters where they would have been euthanized. In the end, both animal and warrior are saved.

In these pages our authors present stories about the bond between warriors and their canine friends. Pull up a chair and share as they tell their tales.

A portion of proceeds from sales of Tails From the Front Lines will be donated to TADSAW.

Special thank you to all of our veterans and the sacrifices they've made for all of us.  Our gratitude also to Dana Bell, Carol Hightshoe, Michelle Biddix-Simmons, Sarah Bear Greenberg, Christauna Rose Asay, Doranna Durgin, Kevin J. Anderson, Maggie Bonham, Doug Bremner,  and Larry Bonham

Prolific Romance Author Heather Tullis  Visits Madame Perry's Salon To Share Her New Book, "Hello Again."  I absolutely love Tullis' self-description on her facebook page and must share it here. "I’ve been writing romance for over a decade, though I have been writing stories only in my head my whole life. Though I’ve been publishing books in a niche market for several years now, the books I’m publishing under this name are geared toward a broader market of romance readers who want the bedroom door to stay closed. In my spare time I do bookkeeping for a small business my husband and I own, garden, create new recipes for desserts and read voraciously."

Looking forward to talking with Heather Tullis tonight!
