  • 'Joe Symes & The Loving Kind' From Liverpool To Madame Perry's Salon With Love
Joe Symes & The Loving Kind are about to blast off the charts! Only together a couple of years this Liverpool band's career path is on a swift upward trajectory. Yes, they are that good! Bonus -  they're fantastic guys.
Since the release of their debut album in 2013, the band have embarked on a non-stop journey all over the UK, performing in cities and towns from London to Glasgow. Taking their self-titled debut on an assault around the country has seen them pick up some major support slots including The Blockheads, Dodgy, XTC, Bloc Party and Alt-J, as well as hitting the Festival circuit, and coming to the attention of Creation Management’s Alan McGee. The album has also been greatly received in America, and had magazine and airplay all over the world.
With the release of their new single, Things Get Better, the band showcase how they have evolved, formed from more increasingly energetic live performances, with a heavier sound, but still keeping their distinctive feel found on the first album. Things Get Better has already begun to attract attention at home and abroad, being featured on BBC Introducing, being played at Anfield (Liverpool FC) on match days, as well as already having some International airplay.
Meet Joe Symes & The Loving Kind in Madame Perry's Salon tonight. Don't be left behind!

News Flash! I believed I had the most eccentric guest list of any show in PodCastTown until I got the hit on POPANIMECOMICS LOUNGE - a show featuring comic book writers and artists, boice actors, wrestlers, and authors. Host Andrew Mecha Davis has already interviewed such wayout folks as Howard Cruse, Debi Derryberry, Miles Greb, Derek Padula, Bob Fingerman and Leva Bates - Yes! Leva Bates AKA Blue Pants. I listened to that show today and it's a rollicking romp through the wrestling/cosplay world of Bates!

  • Suspense Author Jeff Crawford Visits Madame Perry.
In another entertaining episode the Madame is visited by suspense author Jeff Crawford.  This mountain man and master of bone-chilling mysteries is currently on tour promoting his latest thriller Through Black Velvet Eyes.
This novel is set in modern times with shards of paranormal events slicing the suspense. Marley, a single woman in her early 30s, was blinded in the accident that took her husband’s life. Though she’s adapted to living alone Marley is apprehensive when it becomes clear someone is entering her apartment and moving items around when she’s out. The identity of this malevolent prankster is almost as shocking as that of the hero who comes to her aid.
Promotion of Crawford’s fourth novel began with a southeastern tour in February plus and a busy interview schedule in media outlets from the United State to Singapore. Listen in and meet this dark horse from North Carolina whose books are selling like mad.
Madame Perry's Salon's opening theme music, Miss E's Vacation, is composed and performed by Denton Perry. Please follow us on Twitter and our Facebook page.
