Just a few weeks ago, former President Donald Trump announced he’d be running for president again in 2024, despite many critics feeling he was responsible for the Republicans’ overall poor performance in the midterm elections.
Acclaimed journalist Maggie Haberman has covered Trump more closely than anyone, and examines the former president in a new book, "Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America."
She recently returned to You Decide and discussed the book with Errol, as well as the ongoing investigations into Trump’s political and business activities. The conversation also covered how rare it is to have a president from New York, how his father, Fred Trump, influenced the former president and Trump’s role in the events of Jan. 6, 2021.
They also touched on Maggie’s large social media presence and how she is able to withstand the criticism she often receives from both sides of the aisle. Finally, Maggie shares her thoughts on President Joe Biden’s chances of running again.
