We have wanted to get our guest for this episode from day 1, but she specifically requested to recap this chapter then proceeded to fly out to Southern California from Ohio to join us (it was actually just a vacation she was planning on taking that happened to work out for us too)! She's the first of Marian's longtime Harry Potter internet friends that we're planning to meet on the pod, and a podcast aficionado herself - Shannon Daly graces the show this week for what may be our most jam packed episode yet! We talk about visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that day, try some Every Flavor Beans that we got from the park, and Shannon and Marian reminisce on their formative decade long friendship that was mostly informed by being huge fans of the books!

Our cousin Patrick returns once again to go over the 11th chapter of The Sorcerer's Stone, Quidditch! The Marvel-less Marian crew reunites to talk about Snape's sinister motives, how the boys use Hermione immediately, and mostly we spend a lot of time comparing Quidditch to basketball.

First, we finally address the Pottermore wizard shit trivia controversy and how gross and stupid wizards are and then we talk about the horrors of living at Hogwarts again. We try to figure out whether Quidditch is a good sport (Myke uses it as an excuse to talk about basketball) and why Hermione likes Ron and Harry.
