What if the voice telling you that you’re not good enough, capable enough, or worthy enough was never really your voice to begin with? In this episode of Magnify Your Magnificence, I sit down with master life coach, author, and spiritual communicator Daniel Anderson to explore how repeated experiences and other people’s reactions can slowly become beliefs we mistake for truth.
Through Daniel’s personal journey, we explore the inner critic, self-doubt, self-worth, resilience, spiritual awakening, self-trust, gratitude, and finding purpose. You’ll learn why negative beliefs can keep you small, what can begin to change when you question them, and why reconnecting with yourself may be one of the most important steps toward creating a life that feels genuinely yours.

Have you ever felt powerless, stuck, or convinced that circumstances—and other people—are controlling what happens next? In this episode of Magnify Your Magnificence, Sue Paulson introduces the Magnificence Matrix, a framework for understanding how the way we see ourselves and the world influences the way we respond to life. She begins with Victim Mode, exploring how experiences such as criticism, bullying, disappointment, loss, and repeated negative messages can gradually shape our beliefs about our worth and personal power.
Sue also shares practical ways to recognize when you've slipped into victim mode and begin shifting out of it without judgment. You'll learn how to notice your triggers, question whether the thoughts you're carrying are actually true or simply beliefs you've inherited, make a conscious choice to reclaim control, and use gratitude to change your perspective. This episode is an invitation to become more aware of the patterns holding you back so you can begin taking your power back and reconnecting with your own magnificence.

What if recovery is about more than stopping a behaviour—and also about rebuilding the relationship you have with yourself?
In this conversation, Sue Paulson sits down with philosopher, author, and recovering alcoholic Peg O’Connor to explore how philosophy helped Peg recover from addiction, restore self-respect, and rethink what it means to live well. Peg shares how curiosity, faith, personal responsibility, and understanding what we can and cannot control can help us move through uncertainty and make different choices.
They also explore why asking for help is not weakness, how addiction can erode self-respect, the importance of interdependence, and why recovery can begin with something as small as believing that a different life might be possible.
If you’ve ever struggled with self-worth, change, uncertainty, or finding your way back to yourself, this conversation offers a thoughtful reminder: you deserve to flourish.

What if some of the decisions you make today are still being controlled by promises you unknowingly made as a child?
After spending 16 years in a convent under a vow of obedience, spiritual coach Toni LaMotta eventually realized how deeply she had learned to look outside herself for answers. She had been taught to trust authority rather than her own knowing—and years later, she began the journey of learning to trust herself again.
But Toni discovered something even bigger:
You don't have to enter a convent to take a vow.
We can quietly make vows such as I have to be perfect, I need to be needed, I can't be vulnerable, or I have to keep everyone happy. These beliefs can become unconscious rules for how we live, love, work and make decisions.
In this episode of Magnify Your Magnificence, Sue Paulson talks with Toni LaMotta, spiritual coach, Inner Compass Coach, internationally acclaimed speaker, accredited International Enneagram professional and Master Quantum Living Coach, about recognizing those hidden vows and reconnecting with the wisdom already inside you.
You'll also discover Toni's simple 7-minute presence practice for reconnecting your body, heart and mind; how to distinguish your inner knowing from fear and outside expectations; why transformation requires more than collecting information; and what it means to develop what Toni calls ground trust.

Have you ever said yes when your heart was telling you no—or avoided an opportunity because an old fear told you it wasn’t safe?
Boundaries are meant to protect us, but some of the limits we carry were created years ago. They may no longer reflect who we are, what we value or where we want to go.
In this episode of Magnify Your Magnificence, Sue Paulson explores how boundaries influence our choices, relationships, confidence and personal growth. Drawing from her experience at a Grounded Confidence equine workshop, Sue shares how she confronted a long-held fear of horses and began questioning the limits she had unknowingly placed on herself.
You’ll discover:
How childhood instructions can quietly shape your adult decisions
The difference between a protective boundary and a fear-based limitation
How your values can help you decide what deserves a yes or no
Why clarity becomes harder when you remain stuck in “maybe”
How to pause before answering without feeling guilty
A simple way to identify the most loving choice for yourself
Listen now and take a closer look at the boundaries in your life. Are they preserving your well-being—or preventing you from becoming more of who you truly are?
