Snail cream is any beauty product that contains snail slime, also known as mucin. Basically, when snails are agitated, they excrete a thick fluid to protect themselves from cuts, sun damage and bacteria. That fluid is snail slime, which was first used for dermatological purposes in ancient Greece to treat inflammation. Fast-forward a couple thousand years to when snail slime became hugely popular on the Korean beauty scene. And now, it’s firmly in the worldwide markets. it doesn’t sound too appealing but will stay with us here. Well, snail slime is packed with many of the ingredients—including hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid and peptides—that are commonly added to beauty products. In addition to soothing inflammation, snail creams (like Mizon’s Snail Recovery Gel Cream and Shangpree’s Snail Moisture Mask) can also help fade dark spots and scars. Not to mention that these creams can purportedly also plump creased skin and battle acne, naturally. But here’s the catch—while many derms are fans of the bizarre ingredient, lab studies on the efficacy of snail slime have been largely inconclusive. Hey, it can’t hurt to try. mRNA (messenger Ribonucleic acid) mRNA vaccines are a new type of vaccine to protect against infectious diseases. Traditionally vaccines for a viral disease contained a dead virus, which upon injecting into a person will activate the immune response to the virus and hence making a person immune to a live virus if they ever get infected. There were risks to this traditional method such as a person getting the disease or getting allergic or sometimes worst Whereas mRNA does not contain a dead virus, but rather mRNA does not have any virus in it.

mRNA medicines are instructions that direct cells in the body to make proteins to prevent or treat diseases. mRNA is a significant achievement by mankind. Traditionally vaccines take a long time to develop and test, but with mRNA development and testing, vaccines can be done at an accelerated pace.

Some of the companies which are currently approved for developing and distributing mRNA vaccines are PFIZER, MODERNA, AstraZeneca.
