It’s been a few years since Pittsburgh songwriter Brooke Annibale stopped by our studio for a session. In that time, her sound has continued to grow and evolve - holding onto that timeless quality we’ve always loved while introducing some fresh elements to keep things exciting. While we’re still inclined to call her music folk, there are strong elements of extremely radio-friendly pop creeping in these days. She brought the band to Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to share some new songs with us.

Lapêche is a Brooklyn-based indie rock four piece led by singer/guitarist Krista Holly Diem, whose dark, melodic songs offer a refreshing twist on post-punk inspired indie rock. The band - which also includes close friends Dave Diem (bass), Drew DeMaio (guitar) and Jeff Gensterblum (drums) - dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to share this intimate performance.
