This show was building up to the historic WrestleMania VI where those two clashed in Toronto. Andre the Giant made his final Royal Rumble appearance. Someone gets their hair cut by "The F'n Barber" that wasn't supposed to get their hair cut. The Macho King also keeps his rivalry going with The American Dream. And at the end, HOGAN MUST POSE, PAL!!! The show itself wasn't amazing, but it was historic. It was the last one. That's about all we can really say about it. Starrcade 2000 seemed more like a 3-hour, commercial free edition of Nitro from that same year...which wasn't a good watch. However, there is plenty to poke fun at, laugh at, and think about in retrospect. It was the 19th In Your House of all time, it was the final WWF pay-per-view of the year 1997, it was themed for D-Generation X, and Shawn Michaels main evented against Ken Shamrock in a WWF Title match. That's about all we can say about it... It wasn't particularly good. It wasn't particularly outstanding. However, there was some goofy crap to talk about on this one as well as some stuff that set up for the Royal Rumble and more going into the year 1998.
