The recent election has left many people asking the questions, "Where are we? What does this say about us?" Those who ask don't always seem to be looking in the right place. Perhaps instead of the results of a single election, there are better indicators we need to examine to better grasp where we are as a culture.

It has been a long and challenging campaign season. Many of us find ourselves wondering if elections really matter. It's a valid question. In the midst of it all, we must face the realities of the Kingdom and how elections either play into it or they don't.

Inside all of us is a yearning that can't quite be explained. That is something we all face but can sometimes only see through fantasy because of limitations and restrictions we face. At different times in our lives, we're all just waiting for something amazing.

For some, this election cycle is all about the direction of this country. Many people hang their hopes on restoring the nation to its former glory on who wins. The truth is, the greatness of this nation, any nation, has nothing to do with who wins an election. Something deeper must be satisfied, a greater deed done.

It sounds so good, so right. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer so we need to do something about it. The scales need to be balanced for those who lost life's lottery. We hear that message all the time including within the church. Is it right? What does the Word say about it?

The American Psychiatric Association is considering adding sexual addiction, also known as hypersexual disorder, to its official diagnostic manual. Is this legit or a fraud? More importantly, if it is a real problem, can they actually be trusted to help?

I decide what's true for me and you decide what's true for you. Me and the Lord, we got us a deal. He understands where I'm at and is cool with it. I'm sure all of you have heard this before even from people you know in the church. Are they right?

Courage! Guts! Intestinal Fortitude! What does it mean to you? The better question is; "what does it mean to God?"

I keep telling you that I'm outside the box but what does that mean? What does the inside of the box look like? What are it's dangers?

Our plates get pretty full very quickly. What happens when things need to be added when the plate is full? How do we decied what actually goes on our plates in the first place?
