A pre record while Matt’s on holiday. It’s the middle of the night and Matt plays a Toto song that isn’t Africa but then Sarah plays it anyway, there’s music from Joe Strummer, The Kinks & Amy Winehouse and Matt gets excited about a lamb shank.

This week, Matt gets called Harry, chats to Levi Laubenthal from Night on the phone in Ohio and plays music from Dave Stewart, Faye Webster and Dustin Kensrue

Matt winds back the clock a few weeks to The Mercury Prize where he attended on the red carpet. There’s music from Blossoms, Sampha and Foy Vance - including Matt duetting a cover of one of Foy’s songs.

This week, Matt goes to the Q Awards with Red Stripe so there’s music from winners Liam Gallagher, Stormzy and Kasabian. Sarah wins an award and brings in the perfect podsnacks.

Matt’s wiped out and in bed with a virus but couldn’t go a week without the podcast so he phones into the studio where’s Sarah’s on hand to catch his Benylin infused ramblings. There’s conversation with Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach about rock and roll vs social media, tribute is paid to Tom Petty via a track from The Travelling Wilburys and there’s music from Donna Missal and Chris Isaak.

The silence is broken and Matt is back for a new season (or series - whatever) of Mainly Music. This week, Emeli Sandé adds a track to Matt's Spotify playlist, we have a chat with Sam Branson and there's an unwanted, healthy twist to Pod Snacks.
