We're at last beyond the trade deadline and the Sabres made a handful of moves adding Jordan Greenway and Riley Stillman and said good-bye to Rasmus Asplund and Erik Portillo's draft rights. Lance and Joe discuss the ups and downs of the moves. The guys also dig in about the wild game against Tampa, ask about who among the goalies is going to be the guy to lean on, and take a look ahead at what could be a wicked week of games.

The countdown to Friday's trade deadline is winding down and Lance and Joe dig in on what the Sabres could/should be looking to do for it, particularly in the wake of Alex Tuch's injury that will have him out for a few weeks.

News breaks during the recording a couple of times and the guys analyze the Maple Leafs acquisition of Jake McCabe and Sam Lafferty and also give a mention to Michael Houser signing an NHL contract again with the Sabres.

The guys also get into it about why everyone was ready to jump ship following a brutal loss to Toronto and, you'll never believe it... they'll talk about goaltending again. Right? I know!

It's been a year since this podcast began. Why it started one just before Christmas is beyond us, too, but it's too late now! Lance and Joe are here and you're stuck with them as they discuss the Sabres' newly extended Christmas break, their recent super successful road trip out west, how good Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen was during that trip and what's going to happen when Eric Comrie returns in the near future. They also get you to calm down about the Cozens line being broken up for a little bit on the road and then they start discussing the really bad Batman movies for some reason. First, Tage Thompson goes supernova with five goals, then Jeff Skinner goes rage-style and earns a three-game suspension, and then Henri Jokiharju earns a noble, yet terrible, injury blocking an Evgeni Malkin slap shot. Sheesh. Lance and Joe get into all of that as well as Casey Mittelstadt's promotion in Skinner's absence, some goaltending chatter, and the usual end of show goofing around.
