Nick and Foxx are back as they get into spooky szn mode with Halloween Kills. The follow up to the 2018 film features the townspeople of Haddonfield rise up to fight back against Michael Myers. This film does a great job of capturing that mob mentality and although it doesn't have the best plot or writing, you do get some good action scenes as Michael Myers definitely does what the title states he does: kills. Ultimately, Halloween Kills isn't quite to the level that the 2018 film hits, but it does serve as a progression to the story without being overly repetitive. The pivot to a more campy, slasher nature as opposed to a psychological thriller like the original film seems to have worked, as the franchise is back to being well received.

Nick and Foxx are back as they review No Time to Die, the latest and last film of the Daniel Craig run as James Bond. While there have certainly been some misses in Daniel Craig's time as 007, there has also been some massive hits and No Time to Die is more of the latter. There is still plenty to nitpick within the film itself as it is a very long movie, which is one of the things we nitpick in itself, all in all this movie was very intentional with its actions and it serves as a good send off to Daniel Craig. You might find yourself wondering how much you actually care at the beginning, but by the end you will feel sad that this is the last time we will see Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Nick and Foxx are back reviewing the latest SonyVerse film in Venom: Let There Be Carnage. This sequel to the promising Venom origin story features another strong performance from Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom with a more imposing villain in Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kassidy/Carnage. This foundation would lead you to believe that the duo would be a lock to make this a good movie, but that isn't always the case. The short runtime, while trying to make for a clear and concise storyline, does not allow time for character development leading all the performances to fall short, to no fault of the actors. A forced storyline involving Naomie Harris' Shriek is nothing more than a distraction and they do not do a good job explaining the backstory and explaining why things are happening. Venom 2 does have it's good moments with the humor and visual effects, but you can't help but feel like you saw too many important scenes in the trailers and what was left wasn't all that impressive as there wasn't even much left to show.

Nick and Foxx are back this seeking doing a throwback review of the 2008 Comedy hit Tropic Thunder. This movie one of a kind, as the satirical nature of the film, constantly poking fun at Hollywood through Meta references and stereotypes. Robert Downey Jr. steals the show, even in the Academy Awards' eyes, and it is extremely fun to go back and watch his performance especially after all of the Marvel movies. The star studded cast all deliver and this movie stands the test of time. They don't make them like this anymore.

Nick and Foxx are back and this week they go at it as they review Malignant. This is James Wan's latest horror film and one could argue no current director knows the genre better. The classic style of Wan Movies such as Saw, The Conjuring, and even some Furious 7 & Aquaman come through with Malignant. However, an overly campy performance throughout the movie leaves many people with differing opinions. Is this a love letter to 70s and 80s style B-Level horror movies? Or is this just not a good movie?

Nick and Foxx are back and reviewing the latest MCU film: Shang Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings. Shang Chi delivers on all its promises, providing authentic action, genuine performances, and great representation. Tony Leung delivers an all time MCU Villain performance and Simu Liu establishes himself as a legitimate superhero. The movie has some minor issues with dialogue, but is washed away with the amazing action, chemistry and phenomenal third act. Shang Chi cracks the top 10 of MCU films.

Nick and Foxx are back and reviewing sequel to the 1992 film, Candyman. Candyman delivers a great concept and wonderful camera-work, but loses itself along the way. Ultimately the viewers are given a solid follow up to the original film, but are still left wondering what could've been if some more details were ironed out. Nevertheless, we will never say his name 5 times in the mirror...

Luca is the latest movie from Pixar and is about a sea monster's coming of age story as he learns what life is like outside of the sea. While Luca doesn't reach the elite top tier of Pixar films, it still manages to deliver a charming story despite a simple and straightforward plot.

Nick and Foxx are back as the review the surprise movie of the year: Free Guy. Free Guy is a refreshing take on not only a video game, action-comedy movie, but also does an excellent job of a hybrid romantic-comedy as well. This is a Ryan Reynolds movie through and through, but it is not overbearing or too in your face, as the naivety of Guy's character provides a nice balance. Jodie Comer shines with Reynolds, and Taika, Lil Rel and Joe Keery offer a great supporting cast with phenomenal cameos along the way. If you have been turned off by Ryan Reynolds movies or Video Game movies in the past, definitely give Free Guy a watch and a chance to change your mind.
