Interesting Things To Do

This week we watched another fundraising production of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, but this time from the National Theatre live production @ The Bridge Theatre, and it couldn’t have been more different from the Globe Theatre production that we watched last week. I was bit dubious watching another production of the same play, but it really was spectacular. The Globe Theatre production was more traditional, and the Bridge Theatre production was more modern and quite a touch gayer. Both wonderful and compelling viewing and definitely worth seeking out.

A Midsummere Night’s Dream

Song Of The Week: Our Love Is Resistance from New York’s Fab The Duo. This song is from a brilliant new 5-track E.P. od the same name. The song really highlights the singing abilities of both members of the glam pop-rock duo, Greg Driscoll and Brendan Eprile. The video of the performance is stunning, and it makes for a wonderful Pride Anthem.
