GEORGE WHITEFIELD THE GREATEST EVANGELIST IN AMERICAN HISTORY PREACHED OVER 18,000 SERMONS FROM 1740-1770 WHEN GEORGE WAHASHINGTON, JOHN ADAMS, JAMES MADISON, THOMAS JEFFERSON WERE JUST KIDS AND YOUNG ADULTS. How they came to stand in need of this promise, and what is the extent and meaning of it, I intend, God willing, to make the subject-matter of your present meditation. “And he said unto the woman.” Here is an instance of his subtlety. He says unto the woman, the weaker vessel, and when she was alone from her husband, and therefore was more liable to be overcome; “Yes, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” These words are certainly spoken in answer to something which the devil either saw or heard. The first thing he does is to persuade he, if possible to entertain hard thoughts of God; this is his general way of dealing with God's children: “Yea, hath God said, ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? What! Hath God planted a garden, and placed you in the midst of it, only to tease and perplex you? Hath he planted a garden, and yet forbid you making use of any of the fruits of it at all?” ….It was impossible for him to ask a more ensnaring question, in order to gain his end: For Eve was here seemingly obliged to answer, and vindicate God's goodness…But to proceed: By the seed of the woman, we are here to understand the Lord Jesus Christ, who, though very God of very God, was, for us men and our salvation, to have a body prepared for him by the Holy Ghost, and to be born of a woman who never knew man, and by his obedience and death make an atonement for man's transgression, and bring in an everlasting righteousness, work in them a new nature, and thereby bruise the serpent's head, i.e. destroy his power and dominion over them. By the serpent's seed, we are to understand the devil and all his children, who are permitted by God to tempt and sift his children. WHY DID GOD HATE ESAU AND LOVE JACOB BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD? IN ADAM’S DISOBEDIENCE TO HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN WE AS AMERICANS WILL ALL FACE PHYSICAL DEATH, BUT IN CHRIST’S OBEDIENCE TO HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN SOME OF US AMERICANS, THOUGH WE WILL ALL FACE PHYSICAL DEATH, WILL FACE ETERNAL LIFE. IN ADAM, THE THE FEDERAL HEAD OF THE HUMAN RACE, WE ALL FACE PHYSICAL DEATH AND POSSIBLY ETERNAL DEATH BECAUSE OF ADAM’S DISOBEDIENCE TO HIS FATHER. LIKEWISE, CHRIST IS THE FEDERAL HEAD OF ALL THE ELECT,, CHOSEN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, AND ALL OF US AMERICANS THAT ARE OF THE ELECT, WILL FIND ETERNAL LIFE BECAUSE OF CHRIST’S OBEDIENCE TO HIS FATHER. THEREFORE ALL OF US AMERICANS WILL DIE ETERNALLY IN ADAM, OR WE WILL LIVE ETERNALLY IN CHRIST. ARE WE ALL, AS AMERICANS BORN INTO THIS WORLD AS CAINS, BUT UNKNOWINGLY, ARE AN ABEL, PERSECUTING ABELS THAT KNOW THEY ARE ABELS?

HOW IS IT WE HAVE THE RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY, CHRISTMAS, AMIDST RAMPANT SECULARISM? FIND OUT WHO PUT INTO LAW THAT CHRIST’S BIRTH WAS TO BE A RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY IN THIS MESSAGE! ALSO FIND OUT IF AMERICAN WAS FORMED AS A CHRISTIAN NATION WITH THE FULL INTENT FOR US AS AMERICANS TO FOLLOW CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES. CAN WE SEPARATE THE CHURCH FROM THE NATION OR IN GOD’S EYES, AS GOES THE CHURCH SO GOES THE NATION. WE AS THE TRUE BELIEVERS MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MORAL MELTDOWN IN AMERICA FOR WHEN GOD CREATED HIS OWN NATION ISRAEL THE TRUE BELIEVERS HAD A GREAT INFLUENCE UPON THE NATION. MOSES LED AROUND 2 1/2 MILLION JEWS ACROSS THE RED SEA, YET THE VAST MAJORITY OF THESE JEWS WERE NOT SPIRITUAL JEWS, THAT IS, WERE NOT TRUE BELIEVERS AND YET MOSES INTERCEDED IN PRAYER FOR THEM WHEN GOD WAS GOING TO DESTROY THE PEOPLE FOR THEIR DISOBEDIENCE TO HIS 10 COMMANDMENTS. ABRAHAM LINCOLN INTERCEDED FOR US AMERICANS WHEN HE CALLED FOR A NATIONAL DAY OF HUMILIATION, FASTING, AND PRAYER, WHICH MOST PROBABLY SAVED THE UNION. WE AS AMERICANS, MUST STRIVE TO AGAIN MAKE THIS A VIRTUOUS NATION, AND THANKS TO ABRAHAM LINCOLN AND ULYSSES S. GRANT WE HAVE CHRISTMAS AS A RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY, TO REMIND US THAT THERE WERE POLITICIANS THAT ACTUALLY EXPECTED THE WHOLE NATION TO BE A REPENTANT PEOPLE. WE AGAIN AGAIN AS AMERICANS NEED TO BE CALLED TO REPENTANCE BY OUR POLITICIANS FOR OUR RAMPANT IMMORALITY.

HAVE WE CROSSED GOD’S IMAGINARY LINE AS AMERICAN’S FOR ENDORSING SEXUAL DEVIANCY? IF NOT, HOW DO WE ESCAPE GOD’S INEVITABLE WRATH UPON US? GOD IS THE OWNER OF THE LANDS OF THIS EARTH AND HE PAYS CLOSE ATTENTION, TO ESPECIALLY US AMERICANS, WHO WERE MADE BY HIM A GREAT PEOPLE BECAUSE OUR FOUNDING FATHERS PUT THE PRINCIPLES OF TRUE CHRISTIANITY TO WORK IN OUR PULPITS, SCHOOLS, AND POLITICAL INSTITUTIONS: BUT WHY AT THE PRESENT TIME, HAVE OUR POLITICAL INSTITUTIONS, AS WELL AS OUR SCHOOLS BECOME SECULAR? ANSWER: OUR PULPITS HAVE EMBRACED THE FICTION OF THE FREEWILL DOCTRINE, AS OPPOSED TO THE BONDAGE OF THE WILL DOCTRINE OUR FOUNDING FATHERS EMBRACED. GOD IS NOT PLEASED WITH A FAKE JESUS BEING DOMINANT FOR BY THE TRICKLE DOWN EFFECT IT PRODUCES AN IMMORAL PEOPLE AND GIVES THE NECESSARY FOOT IN THE DOOR FOR TYRANNY TO FIND A FOOTHOLD. “ It IS IN the INTEREST of TYRANTS to REDUCE the PEOPLE

IS GOD DEAD IN AMERICA?

AS AMERICANS WE NEED TO ASK OURSELVES WHAT IT WOULD TAKE FOR GOD TO BE DEAD IN AMERICA?

IT IS VERY SIMPLE, IS IT NOT, IF IN OUR OVER 300,OOO CHURCHES IN AMERICA, WE ARE PREACHING A FALSE DOCTRINE OF SALVATION, COULD NOT OUR OVER 300,OOO CONGREGATIONS BE LABELED CONGREGATIONS OF THE DEAD?

LET US SEE WHAT KING SOLOMON HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS:

Pr. 21: [16] The MAN that wandereth OUT of “THE WAY” of UNDERSTANDING SHALL REMAIN in the CONGREGATION of the DEAD.

YES, THAT IS CORRECT, THOSE OF US AMERICANS WHO REMAIN IN THE CONGREGATION OF THE DEAD ARE THOSE OF US WHO HAVE WANDERED OUT OF
