This week is a special extra long episode (possibly to make up for the previous two week's shows abscences) recapping my travel from Mackinac Island to Raleigh North Carolina via Chippewa County and Detroit airports. I saw and experienced a lot of pretty interesting things and I am vain enough to believe that random strangers would enjoy hearing of them. The weather was great and the trip was a great time. I'm glad to be back on the island. For this episode I was able to take advantage of a habit I have of visiting used record stores when I travel to a new town and Chapel Hill NC didn't disappoint. I even picked up a Republika disc. Don't judge me. Enjoy!

As a special addition, a former Mackinac Island hotel employee tells a recent equine anecdote that was recently experienced upon his return home to Georgia.

Solar flare extravaganza 2012! I know you'll be listening to this episode because your ham radio antenna array will rendered utterly useless this weekend. Will we have a nice showing of the northern lights this weekend on Mackinac? Who knows. What I do know, on the other hand, is that this episode is turning over a new leaf of superior production quality and comedy perfection. How, you ask, can I say this with such certainty? Because the whole show was recorded in my shower while I wore a drenched tuxedo as a belwildered stray dog looked on. Enjoy!

Last year, on this precise day I streamed the first episode of Make and Break Radio live from the lounge at Patrick Sinclair's Irish Pub on Mackinac Island.
