The Dream Manager, popularized by the bestselling book by Matthew Kelly, under the same name, grew from an employee retention program into an inspiring example of what a business can be. As the CEO, Mary has become the backbone and driving force behind the exponential growth of the company.

Mary says her success came when she stopped selling and started caring, and that’s really the core of who she is. Subconsciously she believed that caring had no real place in business, but now she understands that is where it is needed most, and that seems to be where the innovations have come from. “Our basic message to employees,” Mary says, “is that no matter where you come from, no matter what level of income or education you’ve attained, you can lead a productive, fulfilling life—and you can make your dreams become reality.” Two of Mary’s greatest recent achievements include receiving the 2017 EY Ohio Valley EOY Lifetime Achievement award and releasing her book, Changing Direction: Ten Choices That Impact Your Dreams.
