Folks, this was one of the greatest wrestling shows I have ever reviewed, and believe me, I've reviewed a lot of shows. Nobody covers RAW like I do. Nobody.

Roman Reigns opened up demanding acknowledgment — the crowd gave him "OTC," very tremendous chant. He ran down his whole résumé: won the Rumble in the desert to "save this place," beat the old man CM Punk, owned the summer, and finally beat hometown boy Seth Rollins — the crowd booed that one, sang Seth's song, very emotional stuff, frankly.

Then LA Knight walked out and the place went crazy, bigger than for Roman if you ask me. Knight called Roman a fraud, wants a title shot with no Bloodline "BS," said he'll wait until WrestleMania. Roman mocked his Wal-Mart watch and told him to get to the back of the line. Knight fired back that it took THIRTY-EIGHT people to beat him last time, and he'll smack Roman "back to factory settings." Love this. LA Knight belongs in that main event picture, period.

Je'Von Evans beat Ethan Page with a beautiful OG Cutter — then BIG CASS returns out of nowhere and destroys the kid, boot, clothesline, East River Crossing. Brutal.

Liv Morgan bragged on herself with the Judgment Day women, then a DQ finish led to BECKY LYNCH's return — she ripped Liv's title reign as the worst ever, and it's not just her, MANY people are saying it. Then STEPHANIE VAQUER returned and wrecked the entire Judgment Day, one against three, all by herself. Lynch and Vaquer stared each other down — big matchup coming, folks.

Oba Femi cut a promo with a lot of words that said nothing, frankly — but his staredown with Bron Breakker said plenty. Breakker then speared Joe Hendry nearly in half.

Chad Gable got his flowers after ten years, very emotional, and teamed with Penta to beat the Judgment Day.

And the main event — Jacob Fatu versus Royce Keys in a Street Fight — an absolute bloodbath. Keys was coughing up blood, chair wrapped around his head, total disaster for him. Then Roman Reigns came out and gave his approval. Tremendous television, believe me.

Folks, we are SO back — bigger, stronger, more majestic than ever before. Many people are saying this is the greatest wrestling podcast episode ever recorded, and believe me, they might be right. Nobody covers wrestling like we do, nobody.

First, WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLV — a tremendous show, one of the best in years! Fatal Influence, Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley, guided by Jacy Jayne, pulled off a HUGE upset over Paige and Brie Bella to capture the Women's Tag Team Championships — very sad for the Bellas, very sad. Danhausen, strange guy, lots of face paint, but a total winner, destroyed JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification match. Lyra Valkyria beat Bayley, beautifully. And the biggest match of the night: CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, a true American patriot, defeated Gunther and Sami Zayn, keeping them far away from the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. We like strong borders around our title matches, folks!

Then AEW Redemption 2026 — tremendous energy from bell to bell! Mike Bailey outclimbed Sleepy Jack Perry, The Beast Mortos, Komander, Nick Wayne, and El Clon in a brutal Six-Way Ladder Match to become the #1 contender. The Young Bucks, great businessmen, took down Death Riders Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. Kyle Fletcher retained the International Championship against Bandido. The Dogs beat the Bang Bang Gang in a wild Double Chain match. Maya World SHOCKED everyone, dethroning Hikaru Shida for the TBS Championship. Cage and Cope held onto the World Tag Team Titles against Claudio Castagnoli and Pac. My friend Chris Jericho, "The Painmaker," destroyed Tommaso Ciampa in a No Holds Barred war. Andrade El Ídolo became the new National Champion. Willow Nightingale captured the Women's World Championship from Thekla — a beautiful moment! And Kenny Omega, a tremendous champion, retained the AEW World Championship against Kevin Knight.

WWE SmackDown 7/31/26 had some big moments, some total chaos, and one women’s match that was booked like an absolute disgrace. In under 10 minutes, I break down Finn Balor opening the show with a strong promo about 2016, Sami Zayn making everything about himself, Gunther storming in like a machine, and Nick Aldis getting dragged into the madness. Tremendous opening, very wild, very hot.

We also got Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green vs The Baddies, the title-for-title tag match with Damian Priest & R-Truth vs The War Raiders ending in a nothing disqualification, then Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, and Haku arriving to wreck everybody. That part? Very interesting. Real reset energy.

Trick Williams completely cooked Baron Corbin on the mic. Rey Fenix beat J.D. McDonagh in a good AAA Cruiserweight Title match with Dominik Mysterio and Danhausen nonsense on the side. Then Lash Legend vs Giulia got basically no time, and it was one of the most frustrating parts of the whole show. Terrible decision.

Finally, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk closed the night with a face-off that should have felt huge, but a lot of it came off like two brothers bickering in the kitchen before finally throwing hands. Not great, folks. Not great.

TNA Impact 7/30/26 was one of those shows, folks — a little crazy, a little messy, and then suddenly excellent when Jason Hotch shocked Mustafa Ali to win the TNA International Championship. Tremendous title change, great moment, streamers, family in the ring — that was the stuff.

Leon Slater & Ricky Sosa beat The System in a strong opener, and Slater immediately demanded another crack at Cedric Alexander for the TNA X-Division Title inside a cage at Lockdown. Indi Hartwell vs Thea Hail in the Knockouts Television Title tournament was rough. KC Navarro had a good fighting-babyface promo before The System jumped him and Fabian Aichner helped even the odds.

DemonXBunny vs The Elegance Brand for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles was an absolute mess with a DQ finish after Allie used the belt. The Hardys came out with goat masks, Nic and Ryan Nemeth showed up talking big, and Santino Marella made The Hardys vs The Nemeths official. Jada Stone beat Jody Threat in another tournament match, and then Hotch finished the night with the upset of the show.

AEW Dynamite 7/29/26 had a little bit of everything, folks — some good, some very weak, some unbelievably dragged out. Andrade El Idolo retained the AEW National Title in a fun opener over Jungle Jack Perry and Nick Wayne with The DM, then gave another “How You Know?” promo that is getting very old, very fast.

We got Don Callis Family vs Speedball Mike Bailey & Brodido, a fine match with Bailey scoring the flash pin on Jake Doyle. Maya World retained the TBS Title over Persephone in a match that just did not do much for me, even with Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander and the kendo stick drama.

Willow Nightingale’s AEW Women’s Title celebration should have been a home run, but Mercedes Moné, Divine Dominion and the contract segment made it feel flatter than it should have. Jon Moxley beat Komander for the AEW Continental Title in another match that felt more like a formality than a fight.

The Conglomeration lost the AEW Trios Titles to The Demand after total chaos, referee blindness, and a finish that looked ridiculous. Then Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay had a huge face-to-face that was intense, dramatic, and went on forever. Big segment, big names, big emotion — but they absolutely took the scenic route.

NXT was a very strong show, folks. Very strong. Grayson Waller opened the night with an absolutely wild rant that felt like he was ripping into the entire brand, and whether it was a full shoot or not, it got people talking immediately. Lizzy Rain and Izzi Dame had a very good match, Myles Borne and Kam Hendrix had a fun North American Title match, OTM and BirthRight kept the tag scene moving, and Shiloh Hill vs. Tristan Angels delivered as well. Then Cruz Montana came out and gave a passionate promo about rebuilding himself, appreciating TNA, and finally reaching WWE. Big emotion, big moment. Tony D’Angelo stepped in, Grayson Waller attacked, and suddenly you’ve got a hot three-way issue around the NXT Title. Great pacing, strong talking, and a very good close. NXT felt alive this week.

Raw was a weird show, folks. Very weird. Some parts were strong, some parts were embarrassing, and some parts felt like total amateur hour. The Hell in a Cell weigh-in with Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, and Triple H was bizarre — broken microphones, rent-a-cops, strange setup, and not much payoff. The Vision beat Alpha Academy and still feel fresh, dangerous, and like a real modern act. Je’Von Evans and Rusev had a solid match, Ethan Page got a nice win over Rey Mysterio, and Sol Ruca vs. Raquel Rodriguez was fun with a title change. The Joe Hendry and Danhausen concert? Awful. Total cringe. Dead crowd, second-hand embarrassment, and a mercy killing from Judgment Day and Ryan Garcia. But then the Bloodline-adjacent six-man story finally got interesting with Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Royce Keyes, the Usos, and Jacob Fatu all colliding in a very strong segment. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins closed the night with the best thing on the show: a heated face-to-face, real venom, and Seth standing tall again. So overall? Mixed bag. Some good stuff, some terrible stuff, and one truly great final segment.

SmackDown was a good show, folks. Nick Aldis and Gunther opened with a contract signing that turned into a tremendous segment — real stakes, strong trash talk, and Gunther powerbombing the boss through the table like a complete maniac. Brie Bella vs. Lainey Reid was way too short, Chelsea Green vs. Kiana James was perfectly fine, and Cody Rhodes calling out CM Punk gave us a solid promo even if it felt a little familiar. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax was basically a rerun of last week’s nonsense, which was ridiculous, but the main event saved things. Damian Priest, Trick Williams, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor had a fun four-way, Jacob Fatu chaos kept things moving, and Finn got a big win to keep his momentum strong. Not a perfect episode, but enough big moments to make it a thumbs-up show.

TNA Impact was a mixed bag, folks, but a pretty entertaining one. Moose and Elijah vs. AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian was fun but way too short, Elayna Black vs. Wendy Choo was getting good until the time-limit draw made everything weird, and The System talked a big game without actually doing much. Mr. Elegance vs. BDE felt like filler, but RIGHTEOUS DELETION was bizarre in that classic Broken Hardys way — goats, Lake of Reincarnation, all of it. Not as effective as years ago, but still memorable. Jada Stone beat Alisha Edwards in a rough one, and then Nic Nemeth vs. KC Navarro absolutely delivered in the main event. Great energy, strong near-falls, and Nemeth retaining with the Danger Zone gave the show a very strong ending. Not everything worked, but Impact still feels like a show with momentum.

This Dynamite was packed, folks. Packed. Kevin Knight and Darby Allin opened with a fun TNT Title match, Knight retained, and right away AEW started stacking angles on top of angles. Brodido vs. ProtOkada was very good, Andrade kept himself in the title mix, Jay White had a strong match with Clark Connors, and the No DQ Women’s Tag Title match absolutely delivered. That was one of the best things on the whole show. The problem? AEW cannot help itself. Everything turns into another run-in, another confrontation, another pile of bodies, another ten people standing around with belts. The Thekla and Willow face-to-face felt awkward and immature, not nearly as heated as it should have been. Then the main event was fun, chaotic, and classic modern AEW — strong action, too much happening, and a wild closing scene with Kenny Omega getting busted open and Kevin Knight standing tall with two belts. Good wrestling, messy structure, and a show that felt exciting while also feeling overloaded. Very AEW.
