Hello and good morning, friends.
We’ve found this new month together and in it an invitation.
Whether your meditation practice has fallen away or perhaps you’ve never quite gotten around to really giving it a try, the beginning of the month is especially for you.
I hear often about how people want to meditate or have this sense that they “should.” In this invitation, there’s no shoulds or pushes or forcing. We’re not shoving ourselves down this path, dragging our feet. I mean, maybe we do need a little encouragement or discipline to stay with meditation, but this is true for many habits.
How many times did I try to stick with meditation before it really stuck? Many many many many many many many… (you get the idea) times. So many. One day, I took the invitation to begin again and it stuck. And here we are.
So I hope you’ll join me, accepting this invite from meditation to find more presence, calm, patience, and/or any number of things that might benefit your life and those around you too.
