    MAMO Mini Moment:
    Hey this is Dan from Makgeolli Moments. On behalf of MAMO, I want to thank our fans, our Mommaes, for your support, constant love and understanding. We like to think that MAMO has always fostered a very warm and welcoming environment, despite our rashness and oftentimes, reckless, ways of communicating. But we never have bad intentions. We are "just good people bonding over food and drinks." That's our culture. With that, I'm sure we do not need to explain ourselves to our Mommaes, but given the nature of our current social climate, we wanted to practice precautions. Our Moments are often recorded months in advance. This episode (Moment 19 House Training) was recorded back in December 2019. In the 30 minute episode, there is a single minute where we joked about being the "representative of white people." This joke also became a snippet to be used for promoting the episode. The episode and clip were made well before Ahmaud Arbery, well before George Floyd. We discussed it and decided that we do not wish to edit the episode or the clip because it's our way of standing with our fellow brothers and sisters. This joke certainly transcend time, we hope that you do not misunderstand and take the joke out of context. We understand racial relation is not a light topic, and we do not mean to make light of racism through jokes. But we also hope you understand that our jokes is another form of voicing out against racism. It's our form of protest. It's our way of possibly bringing much needed conversation and possible positive change. Thank you for always understanding us. Stay safe.
