According to scripture (John 5:17) when challenged to justify healing on the Sabbath, Jesus said "My Father is always working, and so am I."
Perhaps this was a reminder that observing the Sabbath did not mean there is a cessation of the activity of God. And, because of our connection with God, there is a continuous activity or working that is taking place in us, through us and as us. Listen as Mary Ellen shares this message about the spiritual meaning of work and how to work with God and with our good.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. (John 14:27) The peace of God has already been given to each of us. Why then are we not seeing peace in the world? Because peace doesn't exist anywhere outside of us. Peace abides within us and we have the power to choose it at any moment. Listen as Mary Ellen shares practical thoughts about choosing peace even when things don't look the way we would like.

What is joy? Many think of joy as an emotion that is evoked by having something one desires. But where is joy when we don't have something we desire? Where can joy be found then? No one can give you joy and no one can take joy away from you. Listen as Mary Ellen reminds you that joy is already within you. As you practice attuning to the Presence within you begin to feel the joy that's already there. Practicing gratitude and making a gratitude list of even the smallest things can be a way of stirring up the joy that is already within you.
