The events in the Middle East and around the world may cause us to ask, "Is this the end?" "What is going on?" However, we can rest in the understanding of God's loving, sovereign control of people and events. We want to obey Scripture and "comfort one another with these words" (1 Thess. 4:18: context is Christ's return) , "looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13) and "...eagerly awaiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 1:7b). Let's eagerly await our King's arrival! Maranatha!
