There's been a lot of change recently at Queens University of Charlotte in Myers Park. Founded in 1857 as a private university for women, Queens today competes in Division I sports and serves about 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students.

The university is working to implement a plan to elevate the school's profile and to become a premier private college on a national stage.
