We are BACK! Special episode here as Tom and Mar are joined by MOVA horse expert Greg Forca to break down all things Churchill Downs. We discuss the odds on favorites to win, the horses we have our eyes on for bets, and Greg's favorite to win it all. One of his reasons will be surprising, we can promise you that!
What more can we say? We sleep in May! Welcome back to MOVA, as the boys break down the newest bracket for the 2021 Men's NCAA Tournament. The West seems like chalk, but Tom has quite the upset that may surprise people. The East will be make or break for a ton of brackets this year, and there are a couple teams everyone likes as high seed Cinderellas. In the South, there is debate amongst some first round matchups, and Mar comes out with a huge upset to watch out for. In the Midwest, our beloved Rutgers resides and they have an interesting draw to say the least. We wrap it up with our final four + national champion, and take some Instagram questions before the special March Madness outro.
The world of sports is a bit slow at the moment, so Episode 30 is a very unique one. Julius Randle is on an absolute heater right now, we discuss his value to the Knicks and the team dynamic moving forward. The Australian Open is getting interesting (yes, tennis) and our expert Espo breaks it all down with the next MOVA group bet included. We take some time to honor former NFL wide receiver Vincent Jackson, who tragically passed away at the age of 38. Urban Meyer made a questionable hire that is making waves in the NFL, we share our thoughts on the move. New segment alert as we kick off our first annual "would you rather?" game, no explanation needed. We wrap it up with Instagram questions from the listeners and Espo's usual outro
Tom Brady, not Tom the cohost of this fine program. Welcome to Episode 29! The Super Bowl is officially in the books and the GOAT Tom Brady has his 7th ring. We discuss the game and Brady's legacy. Also, thanks for the memes Weeknd! The Knicks are finally fun to watch, we break down their solid start, the NBA landscape and our MVP favorites. The Rangers are not very fun to watch, we get into their tough start, the NHL season as a whole and some Stanley Cup futures bets. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are very enjoyable to watch right now, we touch on their 4 game win streak along with their rest of season implications and the rest of the field for the NCAA tournament. We wrap it up with some listener questions from our Instagram (movathepodcast) and Espo's outro
Courtesy of NJ Athletics, an absolute honor to be joined by our guest for today's episode, Randy Foye. From Newark, NJ he discusses his high school background and how Villanova ended up recruiting him to play 4 years with them. Randy was a consensus first-team All-American and Big East Player of the Year in his college career, he touches on the old Big East dynamic and his experience with Jay Wright. He was selected with the 7th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, he reflects on his crazy draft night and his career in the NBA through 11 seasons. Now retired from the NBA, Randy works with YES Network as a color analyst and runs the "Randy Foye Foundation" for his hometown. We wrap up with 10 questions from the NJ Athletics followers, thank you again to them!
Just your typical Wednesday in sports! We start off with the breaking news of James Harden being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a blockbuster deal and how our first reactions were. Happy 2021 MOVA fam! Back off the holiday break, starting with team USA winning the gold medal in a 2-0 win over Canada at the World Junior Championship (3:30 - 12:15). The New York Knicks are above .500, not used to saying that but lots to discuss with our beloved NBA team (12:20 - 20:45). Unfortunately, our also beloved Rutgers basketball team is struggling with a 2 game losing streak, especially from the free throw line (20:50 - 24:40). Pleased to welcome on Brian Fonseca from NJ.com, who covers all things Rutgers. We talk about the recent play from the Scarlet Knights, some positives such as Ron Harper + the outlook for the rest of the season, and much more (24:47 - 53:05). NFL Wild Card starts this upcoming weekend, we break down each game from top to bottom (53:15 - 1:28:10). We wrap it up with some new year's resolutions and Espo's outro.

The NFL playoff landscape is finally taking shape, and we start Episode 23 with a preview of each impactful game for Week 15. Games include Seahawks / Washington, Patriots / Dolphins, Eagles / Cardinals, Chiefs / Saints, and Browns / Giants. We are all disappointed in the new College Football Playoff rankings, we discuss why. On a better note, Rutgers swept Maryland in football and basketball this past weekend, of course we pump the tires of our alma mater. Giannis Antetokounmpo (had to copy and paste from google) just signed a supermax contract with the Bucks, we discuss what it means for him and the NBA. We wrap it up with a quick New Jersey driving rant from Tom and Espo signs us off with his outro.
