In this episode we talk with Dr Andrea Hagemann who has just completed the 2019 Chicago Marathon for a big PR! Andrea is a GYN Oncologist who lives St Louis with her 2 beautiful children and husband. She has completed 8 marathons since 2003, including qualifying for 3 Boston marathons. Andrea had an exciting Boston marathon this past year when she ended up in the medical tent. I won’t spoil the story so please listen how she turned a scary situation into a victory.

Hi MDRT WORLD!  Welcome to the very first Mama Docs Run This podcast!  Today I have the pleasure of chatting with Dr Emi Ponce de Souza, a neonatologist who lives in Seattle with her awesome husband Eric and 3 lovely children.  We go over how she and her hubs met online (hmmm was it tinder?!?), how running fits into her busy schedule and of course talk all about her awesome runner kids!  We go over everything from having 3 babies back to back to back in medical school and early residency (OMG) and maybe mention the possibility of running a BQ one day (YES!!!).
