When you lose it on someone, you give up the very essence of who you are because you give up your ability to show self-control. In this episode, I talk about what it means to lose your sh*t and how you can rein it in. I discuss why you lose it in some situations and not in others. This is when I refer to how each person has their own individual triggers, as we’ve all been raised differently and see the world through our personalized lens.
I offer details on the steps you can take in order to take back control of your behavior and learn from your reactive patterns. I highlight how you can shift your beliefs by healing the things that cause you to lose it in the first place. By doing this, you can also change your patterns to respond in a healthier way.

Today I talk about the natural emotion of fear. In this episode, I break down the three different types of fear – rational, primal and irrational fear. Then I dive into the specifics of irrational fear, as this one makes no sense to our brain and is usually the prime suspect that keeps you from getting more out of your life.
Irrational fear is usually based on memories of past experiences, false beliefs, and intrusive thoughts and can be improved by exposure. I discuss how fear is not something to run from, but something to learn from and use as a source of power… your power!

This episode is all about the inner critic and its current control over your thoughts. I start off by explaining what the inner critic is, why we have it and the difference between a healthy inner critic and an unhealthy one. I talk about the impact of having an aggressive inner critic, specifically the impact on how you perceive yourself and how your kids may see you and themselves. I continue by explaining that the negative voice may be preventing you from getting more out of life, as it chips away at your self-confidence and your ability to reach and stick to your goals.
My main focus is to give you strategies to become aware of your inner critic and how to shift the negative thoughts in order to gain more confidence and do more of the things you love.

In this episode, I talk about the feeling of being stuck, the tools to discover why you’re stuck and how to move forward. I dive into the details of how being stuck is something you’ve developed over time, which means you can also get unstuck.
As moms, there’s a tendency to put everyone else first and to people please, which may leave you stuck with little time to discover who you’re truly meant to be. This is why I also discuss the impact of social pressure, and lack of support when it comes to feeling stuck and what you can do about it. I highlight the relationship between being stuck and procrastination, as well as the need to reflect inward to discover what you want from your life.
Ultimately, I emphasize the importance of doing what makes you happy.

Welcome to Mama Needs More the podcast dedicated to helping moms get more from life outside of motherhood!
In this very first episode, I share an introduction about my background, including how I became a mother of two wild little miracles and a certified Life Coach with a Master's in Psychology. I dive into the struggles I had with infertility and how this propelled me forward on my journey to the world of personal development. I explain how I overcame my excuses – such as not having enough time to start this podcast and build my business.
I hope that by sharing my story, other mothers will be inspired to share their own stories and learn from each other. My belief is that together we can become more than just moms. We can become who we’re truly meant to be – ourselves.
