A man in Jacksonville, Florida, held signs reminding others of their worth during National Suicide Prevention Month, a reminder we all need as the number of deaths by suicide in the US has increased in the last year to its highest rate ever. What can we do to make a practical difference in our hurting world? One biblical answer is both counterintuitive and countercultural, but it offers hope we can embrace and share with those who need it most today.
