Amidst the turmoil and divisiveness of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, at the urging of both chambers of Congress, declared the last Thursday in September to be a day of fasting and atonement for the country. Fr. John Riccardo and Mary Guilfoyle of Acts XXIX are starting a movement to renew the call of the country to unite in a day of prayer and fasting this Thursday, September 24th, 2020.
