Welcome to episode #231 of our Premier League Sports Podcast! I'm your host, Laurent Courtines, and today we'll be discussing the League Cup final and all the weekend's Premier League action.
In Part 1, we'll be discussing Man United's impressive win over Newcastle United to secure the 2023 EFL Cup. It was Ten Hag's first trophy as manager of the club, and we'll be taking a closer look at how they did it.
Moving on to Part 2, we'll be talking about Chelsea's continuing struggles as they suffered yet another defeat, this time at the hands of Tottenham. Pressure is mounting on Graham Potter as Chelsea have now only managed to secure two wins in their last 15 games.
In Part 3, we'll be discussing Liverpool's latest draw at Vieira's Palace. Klopp will be looking towards the summer as they drop more points, whilst Palace themselves haven't won a game in 2023.
Part 4 focuses on Arsenal's victory over Leicester City, as they prepare for their midweek game in hand against Everton. We'll be analyzing their performance and what this means for their chances moving forward.
Next up, in Part 5, we'll be talking about Man City's return to winning ways. They scored four past a lackluster Bournemouth side, and we'll be discussing their chances of making a late push for the title.
Finally, in Part 6, we'll be discussing the relegation battle and the rest of the weekend's games. It's a tight race at the bottom, and we'll be taking a closer look at which teams are in danger of being relegated.
