Bibliomancy is one of the most mainstream practices of divination that exists today. Divination by book. Several books are used for bibliomancy, often holy texts. The Aeneid of the ancient Roman poet Virgil stands out. Divination using his epic poem has predicted emperors and decided the outcomes of battles. RJ tells Virgil's story, Elle performs divination using the Aeneid.

It’s one of the most popular methods of divination that exists today. This magical practice has left deep trenches in the cultural zeitgeist. So much so, that it seems to have become mythology in its own right. It has inspired video games like Persona, and table top games like Yu-Gi-Oh. I’m talking, of course, about Cartomancy. 

Divination through the use of playing cards. One cartomancer stands out among the rest. A french psychic by the name of Marie Anne Lenormand. 

RJ Walker and Elle Alder explore the ways Magic has shaped human history and culture, covering a different "mancy" in each episode. RJ challenges Elle to perform cartomancy using Lenormand's original method, then challenges her to perform cartomancy using a deck of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
