Today’s episode is ALL about exercise addiction and obsessing over the numbers.
The numbers game is SO real.
The numbers on the scale, calories burned, time achieved on the treadmill or stair master..... numbers are FREAKING everywhere!
So today’s ultimate question is, “How do we stop obsessing over the numbers?”
Good question! Well, in today’s episode we dive DEEP into two steps we can overcome this sabotaging numbers game!

Journal prompts: (listen first)
Journal:
-What are your limiting beliefs around numbers? (time, calories, macros...)
-Did your mom or dad comment on your weight or the calories you would eat?
-Would your cousin say, “If you don’t do at least 40 minutes of cardio it doesn’t even count...”?
These are ALL lies!
Before there are NEW beliefs formed, we have to figure out where your beliefs come from NOW so we can re-write the story.
Example:
‘Limiting belief’——I’m wasting time if I don’t lift heavy or if I don’t do at least 30 minutes of cardio every day.”
-Noticed this is a lie
‘Rephrase’——“The movement I choose to do is good enough because it is. I’m not wasting time because my body desires to walk so I’m going to walk and that’s okay because it is.”
We need to get into a habit rephrasing those thoughts once we find a limiting belief!
