Do you buy certain things to be “seen” a certain way?

• As a committed entrepreneur
• As a good mom
• As someone who is manifesting something
• As someone who has it together
• As someone who can afford it
• As someone who (fill it in for you)

Lots of people do it. 

And most don’t even realize it.

I remember when I was in a business at 19 and you were supposed to buy tickets to an event that was coming up for all the imaginary people you wanted there. 

They made a big deal about it.

“This is what people who are committed to success do,” they said.

So I did it because I was committed to being successful.

What I ended up with was $70 worth of tickets that went to waste, two friends who were stuck at an event, because you know you had to get people to use your tickets so you’d be successful, bored out of their minds and not a step closer to success.

In fact, because I had two people next to me who were so not into it, I think I was further from success because I was focused on them and how unhappy they were instead of taking in the information from the event. 

I would coach myself to do so many things differently now. 

Michele was doing something similar in her business and I was able to coach her to do it differently.

There were all kinds of ways how buying what she was buying was actually creating more of what she doesn’t want in her life. Not to mention creating a cupboard full of products she’s not using (because she has too much) and a smaller bank account. 

She doesn’t do that anymore and as a leader she now leads differently too.

After you’ve listened, do a self money evaluation and see if there is anywhere you are spending money because you want to be seen a certain way.

If you find someplace you are doing that. Stop of course, and find a way to direct that money to be an investment in the person and life you desire to be and live.

Mia was recently called a “Financial Wizard” by someone in the financial world because she knows what she’s doing and she has everything set up she needs when it comes to the big money that has come into her life. 

In this interview we talk about how she moved away from her former money story is Scarcity Then Hot Mess When There Was Money and is writing a new one where she is Financial Wizard. Because Mia’s former money story is Hot Mess, she used to sabotage having more and more money. She had a ceiling on the amount of money she would allow herself to have and she didn’t even know. Now she is not only aware of what she used to do, but has become so in touch with her Future Self that she doesn’t worry about sabotaging like that anymore. She knows she’s not going to.

Stepping into her Future Self has also made creating money more peaceful and her partner likes it more too. She’s not jumping at alerts for her options trading, but rather has found the rhythm that works for her and breads peace and calm. In this interview she talks about how freeing it is to be living and creating money this way.

Mia recently did her first Future Self Workshop and her biggest “ah-ha” was about the shift from manifesting things to stepping into her Future Self. She realized there is a big difference. That’s what I call higher level LOA and during this interview she explains what it means to her and the difference it’s made in her life.

During the workshop she always realized there is no limit to anything. The possibilities are abundant and all you have to do is reach for them and be open to receive them.

Old Money Story: Scarcity Then Hot Mess When There Was Money

Mia is a winemaker and consultant who is understanding more and more that it’s a journey and a process. At the time of this interview she had been in The Enchanted Circle for 87 days. She joined about a year after she first heard Cassie on the Primal Blueprint podcast with Elle Russ. She listened to Manifest it Now and More Money. 

When she felt it was time and she was ready for more accountability she jumped into The Enchanted Circle. To her surprise, she feels like group coaching is better than one-on-one because you learn so much from what everyone else shares and their questions. 

In this interview Mia tells an amazing story of how she’s shifted from “I am the only person who can take care of me,” to “I am so glad I am so well taken care of.” This played a huge role when her home was very close to major wildfires and she needed to be able to receive support from those in her life. 

Mia talks about her money story being scarcity and then in times where there was money, she was a hot mess. As she’s looked back, she realizes there is a certain about of money she’s comfortable with and now she is stepping into a new version of herself who is comfortable with more and more.

Seeing Further is the next pillar of becoming your Future Self and this pillar starts the process over again. Becoming your Future Self is the repeated process of getting in touch with her, then stepping into her, then seeing further into her life and repeating the process. Each time you do this you see deeper and deeper into her life. Then you become her on a deeper and deeper level.

For Kate, part of that seeing further was seeing that her Future Self does group coaching rather than individual coaching. She got some experience being that coach at the Paradise Valley Castle as she cooked and taught about nutrition.
