Lamb To Slaughter is a Dark Comedy  of the famous author   Roal Dahl , which  focuses on relationship , emotions and need of the hour . 

The story is all about the betrayal and its consequences.  A woman who is devoted to her husband and longs for his presence after a long hours alone in the home.

Love is kind, pure, patient , not easily angered. not self-seeking, doesn't dishonor others & keeps no record of wrongs. All these qualities are seen in the child in the story who loved father unconditionally.
