  • Saudi-Pakistan-Türkiye Military Deal

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan have signed a new defence pact that immediately shifts the balance of power across West Asia and South Asia. The agreement, announced in Mecca, creates a formal security framework between three states that have never before committed to collective defence in writing. It is the strongest military alignment among major Muslim‑majority countries in decades, and it arrives at a moment when the region is already under pressure from escalating conflict, shifting alliances, and doubts about external security guarantees.

The pact establishes a joint defence mechanism built around a simple principle: an attack on one will be treated as an attack on all. Officials from all three countries insist the agreement is defensive, not aimed at any specific rival, but the timing makes the strategic intent obvious. Iran’s missile strikes on Gulf territory, the U.S.–Israel war on Iran, and the broader collapse of regional stability have pushed Saudi Arabia to seek reliable partners. Turkey brings NATO‑level military strength. Pakistan brings nuclear deterrence and decades of operational experience. Together, they form a bloc that can no longer be ignored.

The agreement sets up a permanent secretariat in Saudi Arabia and requires regular coordination between foreign ministers, defence ministers, and military chiefs. It also expands cooperation in defence manufacturing, technology transfer, and intelligence sharing. Turkey’s rapidly growing defence industry — drones, missile systems, electronic warfare — is expected to play a central role. Pakistan’s training programs and battlefield experience will likely be integrated into joint planning. Saudi Arabia, with its financial resources and procurement networks, becomes the anchor.

The pact is deliberately flexible. It does not force automatic troop deployment, but it does create a political and military expectation that none of the three states will face a major threat alone. Assistance can range from intelligence support to logistics to full military intervention, depending on the situation. This ambiguity is intentional. It gives each government room to maneuver while still presenting a united front to potential adversaries.

The symbolism of signing the agreement in Mecca signals unity, legitimacy, and a message to the wider Muslim world that regional security can be built without relying on Western powers. Saudi Arabia has been openly frustrated with the United States since the attacks on its oil infrastructure in 2019. Turkey has been recalibrating its foreign policy after years of tension with NATO allies. Pakistan has been seeking strategic stability amid economic pressure and regional volatility. The pact gives all three a new platform.

There is already speculation about expansion. Egypt has been mentioned as a possible future member. Other states may explore cooperation if the bloc proves effective. Whether this becomes a larger “Islamic NATO” or remains a trilateral framework depends on how the next year unfolds.

For now, the Turkey–Saudi–Pakistan defence agreement marks a clear shift: three influential states have decided they will no longer face regional threats alone. It is a new security architecture built from within the region, not imposed from outside. And it will shape the next phase of West Asian and South Asian geopolitics whether other powers like it or not.

  • Anas al‑Sharif: One Year Since the Killing

One year ago today, Israel killed Al Jazeera’s Anas al‑Sharif in a targeted drone strike in Gaza City. They struck a press tent. Cameras everywhere. Journalists inside.

Anas had already been threatened. Already pressured to leave Gaza. Already told he could escape if he stopped reporting. He refused. Four days later, Israel killed him — along with Mohammed Abu Sultan, Youssef Abu Daqa, Ahmed Abu Taha, and Mahmoud al‑Qudra. Five journalists wiped out in seconds.

His last message was: Gaza is being erased, and the world is pretending not to see.

A year later, the grief is still raw.

Anas weapon was a camera. He filmed families digging their children out of rubble. He filmed neighborhoods flattened. He filmed hunger, grief, and the Gaza's pain.

Israel terrorists killed him because he showed the truth.

The killing of Gaza’s journalists is systematic.

Since October 7, Israel has killed 300+ Palestinian journalists. The killing of these brave journalists have been systematic.

This has been a deliberate campaign to blind the world of their war crimes.

Anas al‑Sharif’s death was meant to silence Gaza.

The terrorists struck a clearly marked media tent.

And the world’s response? A couple of statements and condolences that changed nothing... Just lip service. There has been no protection. No consequences. No pressure to stop the killing of the very people documenting the killing.

    His last words still stand.

    “Do not be silent.”

He knew silence was exactly what he’d get after being martyred.

But Gaza remembers him. His colleagues remember him. Every family he interviewed remembers him. Every child he filmed remembers him. We still remember him.

Israel terrorists are still killing journalists. The world still remains silent. Nothing has changed a year on…three years on…78 years on.

  • The End of the US Era in the Middle East

Iran war must end. The US has used up 80% of our THAAD missiles and 65% of our Patriots.

Well, the first point I would make to you is that before the war started, General Caine was warning Trump that we had limited stocks of munitions, for purposes of waging a war against Iran.

And we certainly could not fight a protracted war. But what's happened is we're engaged in a protracted war and it's amazing the extent to which we have depleted our stockpile of sophisticated weaponry.

And these weapons are not going to be easy to replace. If you just look at Air Defence Missiles, there are two kinds. One are the THAADS and then the other are the Patriots.

We have used up 80% of our THAAD missiles and 65% of our Patriots with regard to, you know, our attack missiles, our smart missiles that you can use for offensive purposes.

We've used up 50% of the tomahawks and according to press reports, virtually all of the ATACMs and PrSMs.

So the United States has really seriously damaged its inventory of sophisticated weapons that it really needs in places like East Asia, in places like Ukraine and so forth and so on.

And I think that someone, who knows who it is, has leaked this information in large part to send out a clear message that the Iran war has to end.

And certainly we cannot escalate in that war without even doing more damage to our weapons inventory.

    –Prof. John Mearsheimer

  • Strait of Hormuz Reopens?

    Iran’s Supreme National Security Council:

Until America corrects its behavior, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened.

    Correcting behavior means:

    1. Never threaten Iran with any language nor insult the sanctities of this nation.

    2. End the war and aggression against Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, and Iraq permanently.

    3. Lift the naval blockade and withdraw U.S. naval and air forces from the area surrounding Iran.

    4. Pay the damages for the two aggressive wars imposed against Iran.

    5. Lift the cruel and illegal sanctions against the Iranian nation.

    6. Release the frozen and stolen assets of the Iranian people unconditionally.

These are the demands of the Iranian people who have been relentlessly present in the squares and streets for 160 days.

The Supreme National Security Council will never back down; whether in war or in negotiations.
