Right now, we are standing on the shores of history watching the tidal waves of great glory, great harvest, and great trouble coming to the earth. Jesus’ teaching in John 13-17, at the last supper, was to prepare His disciples to walk in mature joy, supernatural peace, and enduring love in their most troubling hour. Just as Jesus used this to prepare the disciples for the three days of darkness and trouble, so the last supper is meant to prepare the end-time church for the events leading up to the last three and a half years of great glory and trouble. When we sit with Jesus at the table and engage in this dialogue, the result will be joy, peace, and enduring love.
