Did you know that most of your New Testament scripture can be traced back to a church in a city called Antioch? Many people are only vaguely familiar with this prophetic community, which could arguably compare to Jerusalem in terms of its implications for New Testament Christianity and lasting impact on the global Church. God wants to raise up companies of people across the earth that have the same vow that King David had in Psalm 132 written on their hearts. They will have an ache in their hearts for God's glory to rest among them that will drive the way they spend their time, energy, and resources. These "resting places" will have seven dynamics as the Presence of the living God, the Culture of the Throne Room, and the Resources of Heaven manifest among a people.

Right now, we are standing on the shores of history watching the tidal waves of great glory, great harvest, and great trouble coming to the earth. Jesus' teaching in John 13-17, at the last supper, was to prepare His disciples to walk in mature joy, supernatural peace, and enduring love in their most troubling hour. Just as Jesus used this to prepare the disciples for the three days of darkness and trouble, so the last supper is meant to prepare the end-time church for the events leading up to the last three and a half years of great glory and trouble. When we sit with Jesus at the table and engage in this dialogue, the result will be joy, peace, and enduring love.
