Constructed upon a street with Roman origins, number 35 Stonegate was built in 1482 and has a fascinating history having been a publishing house, a psychic museum, a haunted house offering self-led tours and overnight paranormal investigations, and now it’s a clothes shop. Believed to be home to 14 spirits, this is one of the most haunted places in York, and one of the phantoms that call this place home is believed to be very, very dangerous indeed.
