 The Marauders are getting ready for game 2 of a 3 game road trip. Last week, CCC hit the road to Ocala and came up with just shy of 500 yards total offense, while limiting Ocala Trinity Catholic to less than 200 yards offense en route to a 55-7 win. 
 
 Indian Rocks Christian started the season dropping contests to Osceola and Seffner Christian; however, has won 2 in a row knocking off North Florida Christian and an improving St. Pete Catholic. 
 
 History:

CCC and IRCS have met 8 times on the varsity football field. 

2009: CCC won 21-14 at IRCS
 2010: CCC won 21-13 at CCC
 2011: CCC won 31-0 at CCC (only half stadium lights worked).
 2012: CCC won 48-0 at IRCS
 2015: CCC won 34-0 at IRCS
 2016: CCC won 49-21 at CCC
 2022: CCC won 63-12 at CCC (Playoffs, round 1)
 2023: CCC won 42-14 at CCC (Playoffs, round 1)
 
Championship Game in week #6? :
 
 Normally, district champions are not crowned until later in the season, say week 8 or 9; however, when the FHSAA redid the classifications for 2024 and 2025, Pinellas county was cut in half with the north half going to Class 1A region 2 and the south half going to Class 1A region 3. Sadly, this cut an already small district down to two teams: CCC and Indian Rocks.

Notes:
 
Coming off of a strong 42-14 win over city rival Clearwater, the Marauders hit the road for the next three weeks, the longest stretch of road games this season.  The first road game comes this Friday, as CCC travels to Al Dunlap stadium in Ocala to take on the 2x defending class 1S defending state-runner up Trinity Catholic Celtics.
 
Ocala Trinity started the season off 0-2, with losses to Tampa Catholic and Melbourne Central Catholic. In week 3, the Celtics knocked off Forrest High School. Last week, the Celtics tried to rally late on the road against Gainesville Eastside, but came up short in a 16-10 loss.
 
Ocala Trinity Catholic is coached by John Brantley, who is in his 2nd stint at OTC. In total, he has been the head coach at OTC 13 years total and has compiled a 103-45 record. 
 
History:
 
Overall, CCC leads the series 5-1.
