On the education front, the Governor has been pushing for greater transparency in the name of educational equity by proposing that 15 school districts share their methodology for distributing school aid. But several education experts and advocates are not on board with this idea. We spoke first with Dr. Rick Timbs, Executive Director of the Statewide School Finance Consortium; and Bob Lowry, Deputy Director for Advocacy, Research and Communications at the New York State Council of School Superintendents. And then, we heard from Billy Easton, Executive Director of the Alliance for Quality Education along with Tim Kremer, Executive Director of the New York State School Boards Association.
