Sasser received an official invite to join the NBA Draft Combine on May 17. He has until June 1 to make a decision on returning to the Cougars for his fourth year with the men’s basketball program.

Both the Houston Cougars men’s and women’s basketball teams saw new faces commit to their programs within the past week. The women’s team added transfers Logyn McNeil and De'Myla Brown while the men’s basketball team had four-star recruit Kordel “KJ” Jefferson from Arlington, TX announce his commitment to the Cougars for the 2023-24 season.

Lastly, the pair looked back at the 2021 season for the Houston Cougars Football team and ranked their top moments of the year respectively. From the Houston Cougars defeating Auburn to Marcus Jones and the team defeating then-ranked SMU with little time remaining. Which made the cut?
