The Celtics beat the Grizzlies 109-106 in another Marcus Smart masterclass. Smart scored or assisted on all 16 of the pts to start today's game and that mentality kept strong throughout. He ended the night with 15pts 12ast and 6reb with 55% shooting from the field. This is two straight games of being the Marcus Smart that everyone can get behind. Jayson Tatum was also fantastic tonight getting to the rim at will and scoring 11 of his 38pts from the FT line. Jayson Tatum playing this aggressive is a problem for the rest of the NBA so hopefully he keeps this up.

As much as I love JB, this was a really tough game for him. We all know he is a tough shot maker but when the tough shots aren't falling, they look forced and unfortunately for him and us, they were not falling tonight. On top of the bad shooting night, he also logged 7 turnovers and seemed to kill all momentum we had multiple times. I'm not worried about JB because I know he'll bounce back but this was a tough one for him. Overall, this was a solid game for the Celtics and a big win against a really solid Grizzlies team.
