What's in my control and what's not? How an actor's reslience is fed by knowing the difference.

Not a typo. I didn't mean my marvelous audtion. Or my marvel of an audition. Nope. It was an audition for a Marvel project. Here's what it meant to me.

My message to my younger self? I don't have one. First, she wouldn't listen. Second, I don't want to change her. Or me. For better AND worse.

Auditioning. Often described as the worst thing ever. But it's one of the core elements of an actor's career, so how is describing it that way that helpful? My thoughts on reframing this.

Talking about regrets. And letting them go.
