EP. 116 - Today I’m chatting to Interior Designer Rebecca Hughes. Rebecca has a London based, luxury design studio, established in 2014, that provides bespoke services from project conception to completion throughout the UK & worldwide. She believes interiors should reflect those who inhabit them & as a studio, really enjoys getting to know clients, & what motivates their choices & personal style. Rebecca is the 2026 winner of House & Garden’s Rising Star.

EP.113 - Today I’m talking to the English textile designer, Tori Murphy. Tori started her brand in 2012 with 12m of fabric woven in Lancashire that was turned into a capsule collection of cushions & throws that quickly got stocked by Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Daylesford & Selfridges. 14yrs on, Tori has worked globally on home & commercial projects - & is well known for her timeless & sustainable fabrics & products, which are all produced in England.

EP.112 - Today I’m chatting to the very talented interiors, travel, portrait & lifestyle photographer Dean Hearne. It was during six months of travelling through America & Australia in 2000 that Dean’s passion for photography really grew - & his interest in interiors photography soon followed. Dean works with interior designers, hotels & luxury brands all around the world. His work is regularly featured in House & Garden Magazine & he photographed the book ‘New English Interiors’ by Elizabeth Metcalfe. He says he’s “always been fascinated by the power of photography to tell stories” & I’m so happy to be talking to him today.

Ep. 111 Today I’m with Alex Keith, who’s one half of Otta Design - a small, dynamic London based interior design studio established in 2014 by Alex & Ali Johnson. Otta Design is known for it’s elegantly refined, tailored spaces drawing on the duo’s love of rich colour, pattern & texture. The homes they design have been described as sophisticated, individual enduring spaces, with soul. I know Alex as Bean, & Bean knows me as Mouse, incase you wonder why the names Alex & Maria won’t be used in this episode….

Ep.110 Today I’m talking to Edward Bulmer - an interior designer for over 30yrs & one of Britain’s leading architectural historians, who specialises in restoring & decorating historic buildings.  Edward is an advocate of practical sustainability in everyday living & the founder of his pioneering, plant-based, award-winning paint brand, Edward Bulmer Natural Paint. He is passionate about making living spaces healthier, as well as protecting both buildings & the environment.

We talk about: If Edward feels we’re collectively making headway in awareness & action taking better care of our earth, how his paint is actually made, what he places the most value on in life, something that he dreams of accomplishing in the future, his best piece of parenting advice & more!

EP.109: Today I’m with Sophie Rowell, founder & principal designer at Cote de Folk. Sophie has over 22yrs experience working as an international art director & fashion stylist - & decided to transition into the world of interiors, launching her design studio in 2016 in the coastal town of Folkestone. Sophie believes that our surroundings profoundly impact our well-being & sense of identity - & designs homes that reflect the personality & lifestyle of their owners. She says, “Your environment is important. I believe we all need a home that uplifts the spirit.” I recorded an episode with Sophie at the beginning of the year, & she’s back to talk about the incoming new season.
