This lesson will review the remaining verse of the portion Deuteronomy (Eikev) began at Devarim 7:12 thru 11:25, Haftarah: Isaiah 49: 14 thru 51:3. The next Portion will begin in next Bible Study Re’eh Deuteronomy 11:26–16:17, Haftarah: Isaiah 54:11 – 55:5.

I do pray everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I pray others had a chance to review all the wonderful and spiritual aspects of the Biblical Feast and Jewish Traditional Holidays. I find that every season I learn and relearn something new and fun about the Jewish Holidays and Biblical Feast. For example, I laughed when I learned I had been lighting my menorah incorrectly.

I believe this Bible Studies main concept is the order we receive from HaShem, Blessed be He; is self. Ordinarily most think that self is a negative, shameful, or conceded concept. Something, only the most selfish are concerned with, but in Judaism... self is important, valuable, and the only one that can held accountable for ones sins and blessing. Yes, self can be a good and G-dly thing.
