This episode contains part 1 of our massive 2-part conversation with Ken Pulvidente of K&S Wrestlefest! Ken made a name for himself promoting wrestling conventions in the Tri-State area in the early 2000’s, and has since converted almost the entirety of his business to conducting virtual signings on Facebook Live!
In part 1 of this interview, we discuss the early days of wrestling conventions, how Ken survived as a promoter when many did not, and and how booking and promoting wrestling talent has changed over the past two decades. We also have a lively discussion about the etiquette of selling the autographs of recently deceased celebrities, which is a hotly debated topic online. You don’t want to miss this one!

In this episode, we discuss our recent experience at Monster Mania Con in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. We also take the topic from last week and flip it, discussing convention etiquette from the perspective of talent/vendors/promoters.
How long should a fan spend at a guest’s table? How many autographs are appropriate to get at once? These are all issues we discuss at length in this episode, same as last, except this time from the perspective of the other side.
Our next episode will feature an interview with Ken Pulvidente, who has run several autograph conventions in the Northeast and more recently has developed a large following running signings on Facebook Live.

In this episode, we discuss the recent cancellation of headliner Antony Starr (Homelander from The Boys) from the Monster Mania con in Cherry Hill. Also, inspired by a Tiktok complaining about long lines at Collect-A-Con in New Jersey, we discuss various aspects of convention etiquette from a fan’s point of view, with the promise to address the promoter/dealer/vendor point of view at a later date.
