Caroline Cremen from Adviceworx chose JD.COM as her stock pick of the day.

"JD.com for those people who don't know is the Chinese version of Amazon and while the Chinese economy has rebounded the stock has still been part of the reason for the government's interference in the financial services arms of companies like TenCent, JD.com and also Alibaba. And then also there's been a sectoral switch out of technology but I think this one's sell-off has been abet overdone. You've got to look long-term again for this as domestic consumption is actually a priority for the Chinese government."

Steven Schultz from Momentum chose RMH as his stock pick of the day.

"My stock pick this evening is RMH properties, it is a counter that this week took quite a significant dive in price, following a special dividend yesterday of 80 cents. It is a REIT but but unlike many REITS in in SA it operates with a slightly different model whereby they align themselves with the best to be property developers and then monetize those properties as and when they deem it having reached fair value."

Nesi Chetty from Stanlib chose Vukile Property Fund as his stock pick of the day.

"My stock is one that has lagged the general market in property recovery, it's a company called Vukile Property Fund. We've been very impressed with the defensive nature of the assets within Vukile."

Makwe Masilela from Makwe Fund Managers chose Clicks as his stock pick of the day.

"Stock pick is Clicks and for the fact that they've got over 760 stores, over 600 pharmacies. They are looking to open up 40 more stores and 30 more pharmacies and they expect their full year earnings to be anything between 8 and 13%."

Viv Govender from Rand Swiss Offshore chose MTN as his stock pick of the day.

"My pick is actually something very interesting, even though it was down today it's MTN. I do think that this is one of those few companies out there that managed to actually crack the nut on how to operate in Africa at the moment."

Rob Towell from Sasfin Securities chose South32 as his stock pick of the day.

"We still like South32 if you take a look at where they are in the commodity cycle."

Graeme Franck from PSG Wealth Sandton Grayston chose British American Tobacco as his stock pick of the day.

"In terms of my my stock pick I do like British American Tobacco for the simple reason that it was hit hard recently on the back of the US and this whole menthol investigation into cigarettes. So the share price has come off in pound terms from 33 pounds to the sort of 27-28 and they came out with a statement today, declaring a dividend of 215 pence."

Sentio Capital's Imtiaz Suliman chose Netcare as his stock pick of the day.

"I''m going with Netcare and again this is another one that will benefit from the reopening of the South African economy."

Viv Govender from Rand Swiss chose Richemont as his stock pick of the day.

"I'm going for Richmond, you know even before the coronavirus was around I had thought that you might see a bit of a speed change in terms of luxury consumer demand but it hasn't really changed and we've seen a lot of uh uptick more recently."

Steven Schultz from Momentum chose Investec as his stock pick of the day.

"My stock pick this evening is not necessarily the most loved sector being financial services and banking in particular. I do believe that Investec is a well poised for a recovery in the sector. It's still some way off its 2015 highs and I do think it is well placed for a bit of an earnings recovery in the second half of this calendar year."
