Maroon Talk

Here's something different from our usual episodes!  Have a fresh perspective through listening to former Ateneo Blue Eagles Von Pessumal, Chris Newsome and Gwyne Capacio. These three guys played under Coach Bo Perasol during his time with the Blue Eagles and they all shared very interesting insights on how Coach Bo was as a mentor and a father figure.  Let us know what you guys think in the comments down below!  #OneBigUPFight Twitter: @phimmoran @enzomusikero  UP Fight!

The hype for last year's finalists was for real as thousands trooped to the Araneta Coliseum to witness this budding rivalry which is the Battle of Katipunan.  Ateneo won convincingly as we also saw flashes of brilliance from this highly touted Fighting Maroons team.  This game summarized my thoughts for the whole of the first round since this emulated what we've been saying for the past few games.  Let's put this behind us and move forward to a whole new battle in the second round.  UP Fight!   Twitter: @phimmoran @enzomusikero  Camera:  Canon M100

A stolen win for the UP Fighting Maroons against the DLSU Green Archers. Mixed emotions with the result but we'll take it.   Final score: 72-71  On to the next one which is the real test against Ateneo on Sunday, September 29.  Major changes needed if we want to beat the defending champions.  UP Fight!  Facebook: Maroon Talk Spotify: Maroon Talk

A monumental clash with a rich serving of storylines is about to unfold on Wednesday, September 24 at the Mall of Asia Arena as we will see the UP Fighting Maroons face the DLSU Green Archers.  A lot will be at stake as former Lasallians Kobe Paras, Ricci Rivero and Jboy Gob are about to face their former team so let's see how they'll be approaching this one.  Watch on as we are joined by our high school batch mates from De La Salle Zobel as they share their take for the La Salle side.  UP Fight!  Camera:  Canon M100  Twitter:  @phimmoran @enzomusikero  Peace!

Another flat win for the UP Fighting Maroons today as we beat the UE Red Warriors, 62-56.  Kobe, Bright and Javi did the bulk of the scoring once again so we got to pull away with the win.   It still wasn't the performance that we're hoping for but a win is a win and we'll take that.  Watch on as we discuss the game.  UP Fight!  Camera:  Canon M100  Twitter:  @PhimMoran @enzomusikero

Another game, another win.  However, the Maroons can't get used to this type of play since the game slipped from them time and time again.  Watch on on how we thought about this game as I do a solo episode.  UP Fight!  Camera:  Canon M100  Instagram:  @phimmoran  Peace!

What a game between UP and Adamson once again!  This budding rivalry came off from their wonderful matchups from last season and definitely gave the crowd a show once again today.  Luckily, UP came out on top today defeating Adamson by a point, 83-82.  Check out Phim and Enzo's thoughts on the game and let us know what you guys think!  Facebook: www.facebook.com/MaroonTalk  YouTube: https://bit.ly/2lPojp6 Spotify:  https://spoti.fi/2lGszXW #UPFight #MaroonTalk Camera:  Canon M100  Instagram:  @phimmoran @enzomusikero
