  • The Parable of the Wedding Feast
As you hear these words that provide you another aspect of Jesus exposing sin and hypocrisy among the people, among the leaders he had chosen to be a faithful light in the darkness, do you have ears to hear the call of the Gospel to you today? Praise your Lord Jesus Christ for His willingness and faithfulness to confront sinners, to send his servants to the ends of the Earth calling sinners to repent and come to Him and not only be invited, but a part of that glorious marriage! Praise Jesus for His blessing you His people with salvation and His righteous robes, welcoming all who believe to His feast.

DAY 6 — LOVE IS NOT IRRITABLE.[LOVE RULES THE SPIRIT INSTEAD OF LETTING PRESSURE RULE THE HOME] PROVERBS 16:32 KJV Irritability is often the outward symptom of inward pressure. • DAY 5 — LOVE IS NOT RUDE
DAY 5 — LOVE IS NOT RUDE. [LOVE SHOWS RESPECT IN THE LITTLE THINGS] PROVERBS 27:14 KJV Love does not excuse rude behavior simply because we are comfortable with our spouse. Biblical love shows respect in our words, our tone, our habits, and our willingness to change anything that unnecessarily irritates or embarrasses the person we love. RESPECT IS LOVE MINDING ITS MANNERS. Rudeness says: "THIS IS JUST THE WAY I AM." Love says: "IF IT HURTS YOU, I'M WILLING TO WORK ON IT." Rudeness demands to be understood. LOVE SEEKS TO UNDERSTAND. Rudeness embarrasses. LOVE HONORS. Rudeness defends itself. LOVE LISTENS. One of the marks of a mature marriage is being willing to ask: "WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE WITH ME?" And then having enough humility to listen to the answer.

  • DAY 4 — LOVE IS THOUGHTFUL
DAY 4 — LOVE IS THOUGHTFUL. [LOVE THINKS BEFORE IT SPEAKS AND NOTICES BEFORE IT IS ASKED] PSALM 139:17–18 KJV Thoughtful love pays attention. It listens carefully, remembers what matters, considers the needs of the other person, and thinks before speaking or acting.THOUGHTFULNESS IS LOVE PAYING ATTENTION. Thoughtless love assumes. THOUGHTFUL LOVE NOTICES. Thoughtless love forgets. THOUGHTFUL LOVE REMEMBERS. Thoughtless love reacts. THOUGHTFUL LOVE THINKS FIRST. Thoughtless love waits to be asked. THOUGHTFUL LOVE TAKES INITIATIVE. One of the simplest ways to strengthen your marriage is to begin thinking intentionally about the person God has given you. Ask yourself today: "WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY SPOUSE'S HEART THAT I NEED TO NOTICE?" Because great marriages do not happen by accident. GREAT MARRIAGES COME FROM GREAT THINKING—FOLLOWED BY LOVING ACTION.

  • DAY 3 — LOVE IS NOT SELFISH
DAY 3 — LOVE IS NOT SELFISH. [LOVE ASKS "WHAT CAN I GIVE?" NOT "WHAT CAN I GET?"] ROMANS 12:10 KJV Selfishness puts "me" first. Biblical love puts the other person before self. A Christ-centered marriage grows stronger when both husband and wife stop asking, "What am I getting?" and begin asking, "What am I giving?" Selfishness asks: "WHAT ABOUT ME?" Love asks: "WHAT DO YOU NEED?" Selfishness keeps score. LOVE TEARS UP THE SCORECARD. Selfishness demands to be served. LOVE LOOKS FOR WAYS TO SERVE. Selfishness waits for the other person to change. LOVE GOES FIRST. Before criticizing your spouse's selfishness today, ask God to show you your own. And then ask one simple question: "WHAT CAN I GIVE TODAY INSTEAD OF WHAT CAN I GET?" That's the kind of love Jesus demonstrated toward us. And that's the kind of love that can transform a marriage.
