Martial Movie Massacre returns for the first part of its 10th episode anniversary. For three years we have presented a tradition of looking at the dramatic fiction medium - movies and sometimes TV - to discuss what we like and dislike about its martial art content. Having spent two years and six episodes going through tropes and cliches in this subgenre, this year I have asked several of my guests to offer their recommendations on not only underrated martial arts movies but also non-martial arts movies that martial artists should watch. Now, it is my turn. Here are my first five selection of 10 movies that meet this criteria.
