Mike Geiger, Owner of Moe's found a better way to spend his advertising dollars.  Instead of taking the ad money and buying all commercials they are spending their ad money, over 200,000 dollars, by giving back to the community that they serve.

Criminal Defense Attorney Bill Difenderfer joins Marty Griffin and Wendy Bell to talk about the Rosfeld trial that began today.  Bill Difenderfer often represents police officers, and says he doesn't really think it is difficult to defend them.  He believes in most cases the greater public favors the officer.  Difenderfer adds that thinks this case will end in a hung jury.

After talking to Mary Chitwood, who is getting a home together in Butler to help homeless female veterans, Marty and Wendy got a call from Bill Kennihan.  Bill owns Kennihan Plumbing and Heating and stepped forward to put in what the house needs so they can start helping those female vets in need.

Lori Falce, the Community Engagement Editor at the Trib joined Wendy Bell and Marty Griffin to talk about the importance of letting your children fail, especially after the college admissions scandal broke last week.  Lori Falce says she wouldn't be where she is today without her mistakes and failures.

Retired judge Frank Luccino, joined Marty Griffin and Wendy Bell to talk about how difficult it can be to get an unbiased, diverse jury.  Frank Luccino tells Marty and Wendy that he thinks that this jury, even though it was chosen from outside the County, it accurately depicts Allegheny County.  There are 6 men and 6 women, 9 Caucasians and 3 African Americans and a good age group.  He adds that on paper it looks like a really good jury.

Peter VanBuskirk, the former dean of admission, of Franklin and Marshall College talks with Wendy and Marty about the admission process.  He also pointed out where there is a disconnect between admissions and athletics.

Dylan Chidick, his mother and brother moved from Trinidad to the United States when he was younger.  They suffered some hard times and he ended up homeless at different point and as late as when he was 17.  Dylan kept going and currently has been accepted to 17 of the 20 colleges that he has applied to while waiting to hear from the final three.

US Senator Pat Toomey joined Marty and Wendy to talk about the horrific mass shooting at the New Zealand Mosque.  He also talked about he has been backing a resolution passed by the House of Representatives to prohibit President Trump from using an emergency declaration in order to fund the building of a US-Mexico border wall.

Attorney Rob Pierce, joined Marty Griffin and Wendy Bell to talk about a lawsuit he filed today against a teacher, St. Bernard School and the Roman Catholic Dioceses after the alleged victim, who is now an adult says he was sexually assaulted by a teacher while he was  student at the St. Bernard Elementary School.
