Jim Van Sickle a survivor of priest sex abuse, within the Catholic Church is heading to the Vatican.  He joined Wendy Bell and Marty Griffin for two segments to share his story.  It started when he was a sophomore in high school, and now 38 years later he is headed to the Vatican to be heard.  He is looking for real change, not for the catholic church, but for the survivors.

Melanie and Samantha Marien joined Marty Griffin and Wendy Bell to talk about how they are trying to inform parents and kids how important the HPV vaccine is.

Ron Vodenichar the General Manager of the Butler Eagle joined Wendy Bell and Marty Griffin to talk about the Butler Eagle's decision to pull the Non Sequitur comic strip for a vulgarity against President Donald Trump.  The Butler Eagle is the first newspaper in the country to pull a Non Sequitur.

Amy McCready the founder of Positive Parenting Solutions.com and Author of The "Me Me Me" Epidemic joined Marty Griffin and Wendy Bell to talk about how social media is affecting the ways people, mostly teens make and keep friends in real life.

During this segment Wendy and Marty talked about how much time kids/teens spend a day on their phones and devices.  Both Wendy and Marty said they limit how much time their kids can spend a day on their phones/iPad or playing video games.  At the end of the day parents just want their kids to pay attention to them when they are talking to them instead of worrying about answering a notification.

Larry Davis is a sociologist at the University of Pittsburgh and he joined Wendy Bell and Marty Griffin to talk about the diversity in the Strip District, specifically at Wholey's Fish Market.

Attorney General Josh Shaprio announced today legal action against UPMC accusing them of failing to comply with the state charities laws and their ongoing battle with Highmark.  The Attorney General joined Marty and Wendy to talk about today's announcement and what this means.

Brian Wisnieski a Plum Borough School Board Member joined Wendy Bell and Marty Griffin yesterday to talk about the backlash he is receiving after he shared a post on Facebook.  The post was the picture of a man holding a gun with an American Flag in the background and the words, Does it worry anybody that we have three devout Muslims in Congress who have unlimited access to our top secret government documents?  Today Brian Wisnieski joined Marty and Wendy to tell them he plans on resigning from the school board and also shares what his plans are for his next chapter.
